1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win any contest conducted by Tower Road Media, Inc. (“Station”). A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • Employees, agents, officers, and directors of Tower Road Media, Inc. (WDUX WPCA), its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, advertising or promotional agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, siblings, parents, children) or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win.

  • Only one winner per household per 30 days for prizes valued over $500.00, unless otherwise stated.

 

3. HOW TO ENTER

  • Entry methods may include phone calls, online forms, social media, text messages, in-person sign-ups, or mail-in entries, as specified in each contest announcement.

  • Entries must be submitted within the stated contest period. Late, incomplete, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

 

4. PRIZE(S) & WINNER SELECTION

  • Prizes, their retail value, and any restrictions will be announced on-air, online, or through contest materials.

  • Winners will be selected at random or through a predetermined contest method (e.g., best response, trivia answer, caller number, drawing).

  • Winners will be notified via phone, email, or social media and must respond within 30 days. If a winner fails to claim the prize within the specified time, an alternate winner may be selected.

  • The Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

 

5. PRIZE CONDITIONS

  • All prizes are awarded "as-is" with no warranties and cannot be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash, except at the Station’s discretion.

  • Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and any additional costs associated with their prize. Prizes valued at $600 or more require winners to complete a W-9 tax form and may be reported to the IRS via Form 1099-MISC.

  • If a prize involves travel, event tickets, or experiences, winners assume all risks and must comply with all rules set by the event organizer or venue.

 

6. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • By participating, entrants agree to hold harmless Tower Road Media, Inc., its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, and sponsors from any liability, loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of any prize.

  • The Station is not responsible for technical failures, lost/delayed entries, errors in contest announcements, or any acts beyond its control.

 

7. PUBLICITY & CONSENT

  • By entering, contestants grant the Station the right to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, and any contest-related content for promotional purposes, without further compensation.

 

8. DISQUALIFICATION & RULE VIOLATIONS

  • The Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates contest rules, provides false information, engages in fraudulent activity, or attempts to manipulate the contest unfairly.

  • Any attempt to tamper with the contest (hacking, cheating, or disrupting normal contest operations) may result in legal action.

 

9. FCC COMPLIANCE & GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The contest is subject to all FCC rules and regulations. Any violation may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.

  • If a contest is found to violate any law or FCC regulation, the Station reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify it as necessary.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

  • These rules are governed by Wisconsin state law and U.S. federal law.

  • Any disputes or claims must be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin, and entrants waive the right to class-action litigation.

 

11. STATION RIGHTS

  • The Station reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any contest for any reason, including fraud, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • The Station’s decisions regarding contest eligibility, prize distribution, and rule interpretation are final.

 

12. SPECIFIC CONTEST RULES & DEFAULT TERMS

  • Certain contests may have specific rules that apply in addition to or in place of these general contest rules. If specific contest rules are published or announced, those rules will supersede any conflicting provisions in these general rules.

  • In the absence of specific contest rules, these Official Contest Rules shall govern all promotions and giveaways conducted by Tower Road Media, Inc.

 

13. OFFICIAL RULES & WINNER LIST

  • Official rules and winner lists (if applicable) are available upon request by mailing 200 Tower Road, Waupaca, WI 54981 with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
